Best Friends Bucket Hats

It is the continuation of the Best Friends Shapan collection.

Bucket hat was inspired by the amazing shadows from the shading devices with ornaments on a sunny day in Turkey. I saw how beautiful it looked on my mom’s face and thought of making a hat that could have a similar effect. That is why the main material is translucent – to let the light in. And the traditional Kazakh ornaments are what make up the shadows on person’s face. The metal chain details were inspired by the details on the traditional Kazakh headpiece called Takiya.

The colours were based on my Best Friend's personalities. And designs were named after them, too.
